Regent Centre is a large business park in the Gosforth area of Newcastle upon Tyne, England.
The Centre has its own transport interchange; consisting of a station on the Tyne and Wear Metro, as well as a medium-sized bus station that serves as an interchange for commuters who do not wish to travel through the City Centre. Some Metro services terminate at Regent Centre Metro station due to its proximity to the Metro depot. The station is heavily used by Regent Centre workers and the students of the nearby Middle and High schools.

[edit] History
The Regent Centre station stands on the site of the West Gosforth station of the Ponteland Railway. The West Gosforth station opened in 1905 and closed to passengers in 1929, and to goods in 1967[1].
[edit] Station art
The station features a mural called Metro Morning[2] created by Anthony Lowe. It depicts passengers travelling in a representation of Metro car.
The car park stairwell also features a mural called Have You Paid and Displayed?[3] created by Nic Armstrong. It depicts the everyday lives of the car park's users and Metro passengers.
