Reganochromis calliurus is a species of fish endemic to Lake Tanganyika in East Africa.[3] The species is the only representative of the monotypic genus Reganochromis, and is part of family Cichlidae in subfamily Pseudocrenilabrinae.[3] The species was originally described as Paratilapia calliura,[2] and was moved to Reganochromis by Whitley in 1929.[1] The genus is named in honour of Charles Tate Regan.[3]
