From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Reg Presley (born Reginald Maurice Ball on June 12, 1941,[1] in Andover, Hampshire) is an English singer/songwriter. He is best known as the lead singer with prominent 1960s rock and roll band The Troggs, whose biggest hit was "Wild Thing".
His most famous composition is "Love Is All Around". When this song was covered by Wet Wet Wet in 1994, it stayed at No. 1 in the UK singles chart for fifteen weeks, and Presley famously spent some of the proceeds on crop circle research.
- ^ IMDb gives his birthdate as 1945; a Google search brings up 1943s mostly, as does AllMusic.com, confirmed by Reg as 1941
