[edit] Mention of Fritzl escape attempt in Bild link
The link did list the detail, on slide 10 of 17. It read that on Christmas eve, Elisabeth attempted to escape. I will dig up the link and check again. Twalls (talk) 22:47, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
- There it is: 24. Dezember 1994: Ausgerechnet an Heiligabend gelingt Elisabeth die Flucht aus dem Verlies! Aber ihr Vater findet sie – und steckt sie wieder in den Keller.
- Sorry. I guess I missed it. You'd think something like this circulate beyond this single tabloid, though, if it were verifiable.--Redirectorial (talk) 05:09, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
- Are you sure you pasted in the right link? I can't find the word "Flucht" anywhere. What section is it in?--Redirectorial (talk) 05:19, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

- Yes, that's why I thought important to write "According to... " The paper is a tabloid, but they did release the footage of Fritzl's vacation time from his friend Paul Hoerer. I haven't seen the escape attempt mentioned in the police press releases yet, although new details are emerging daily. Twalls (talk) 14:45, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
- Hmmm... Would you mind if this was brought up on the talk page? Given the fact that we so far have only found this story on a single slideshow of a newspaper website, maybe some wider discussion on whether or not this should remain on the article might be a good idea.--Redirectorial (talk) 07:59, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
