Everyone's got some different philosophies for editing, and I think you might want to know mine. So here they are.
I am an eventualist and believe that Wikipedia is a work in progress. Wikipedia is not a paper encyclopedia and there should be plenty of articles if they are notable enough, though WP:N takes precedence over including things. My interpretation of WP:N tends to be looser than most people, though. I am pretty anti-deletion on most topics if I think notability can be established (even if it isn't at the moment). This belief is what allowed me to save the Crush 40 article and make it respectible, the very first article I worked on.
I do perform some merges sometimes, but usually only when I think there's no way in hell (pardon the language if you're offended) that an article can be proven notable by itself.
I won't ever violate this particular rule.
I want to make sure every article that I work with on Wikipedia is correct and true (call it an obsession, if you will, if every man must have one.)
I am careful when I make assessments, and I have to be as the head of assessment at The Sega Project.
I take my integrity very close to heart and defend it ferociously. I don't tolerate personal attacks.
I defend my opinions because I stand for what I believe in. But I don't get into fights often, because I don't like to if at all possible.
