[edit] should merge

Should merge with "Kings of Redonda". 16:18, 5 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Perhaps "Kings of Redonda" should be merged here, as Redonda should retain its own article. --Golbez 21:47, Jun 5, 2005 (UTC)
Better to merge the whole lot into Antigua and Barbuda. It doesn't rate more than a footnote, and the pretenders to the throne less than that. 82.152.46.201 22:46, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Merge Proposal

I wish to merge this article into Kingdom of Redonda. Both articles are too small to stand alone, and it makes more sense to merge the island into the kingdom than the kingdom into the island since the kingdom is the reason that it is well known. Is this acceptable? Syrae Faileas 18:02, 31 August 2005 (UTC)

Hmm... looks like the German version of this page has a lot more information about Redonda as an island and its history. I may want to merge the Kingdom into this article instead. Either way, there's gonna be a merge and redirect. I'm not going to do anything for at least a week to allow for discussion. Syrae Faileas - «Talk» 23:15, 31 August 2005 (UTC)
I've done a little reading on this now, and it seems that the island of Redonda and the Kingdom of Redonda are no longer related. They should definitely not be merged. If any merging is to be done, I'd suggest Redonda be merged into Antigua and Barbuda. --YuvalOren 12:08, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Rotten Parish?

How can it be a parish if it unenhabitted?

It's a dependency, not a parish. It's an odd little island with an odd history. --YuvalOren 12:12, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Conflicting Information

CIA World Factbook says Redonda is 1.6 sq. km. while the US Library of Congress Country Studies say 2.6 sq. km. --YuvalOren 12:12, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
