[edit] Child soldiers and anti-personnel mines?

I deleted the last sentence of this article, as it was unreferenced.

Anti-personnel mines target everyone, children, adults, livestock, soldiers, civilians. They are bad because they are indiscriminate.

Conscripting child soldiers on the other hand is targeted (very discriminate) abuse of the most vulnerable members of society.

I have never heard of any link between the two. The only connection is that both may be used by people with no regard for human life, but that is pretty tenuous. Anti-personnel mines have been used in many wars, entirely independent of the presence or absence of child soldiers.

If someone wants to revert the delete, please cite a credible reference.--RandallC 13:53, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
