"The Red Dog has been recognized by the Alaska Legislature for its longevity as the oldest man-made tourist attraction in Juneau. Founded during Juneau's mining era, the Saloon has been in operation for decades."
Since the main claim to fame of this place is the date of its founding, the article should be more specific as to exactly when that was. At least mention in this article just when "Juneau's mining era" was - the article Juneau isn't especially specific. -- Writtenonsand (talk) 14:11, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
