Redwoodtown is a suburb to the south of Blenheim's central district.[1][2]
The population was 5,148 in the 2006 Census, an increase of 267 from 2001.[3]

Redwoodtown School and Richmond View School are coeducational full primary (years 1-8) schools with rolls of 249[4] and 98,[5] respectively. Both schools have a decile rating of 6. Richmond View is a state integrated school with a Christian perspective.[6]
