The red rock hares are the three species in the genus Pronolagus. They are African lagomorph in the Leporidae family.
The genus contains the following species:
- Natal Red Rock Hare (Pronolagus crassicaudatus)
- Smith's Red Rock Hare (Pronolagus rupestris)
- Jameson's Red Rock Hare (Pronolagus randensis)
