Members Jared Egan, Jonn Smith, and AJ Locke have been performing and recording as a trio since 2006. They were briefly known at the Unattainables, but have gone by Red Red Rockit since 2007.
The band released their first EP Red Red Rockit in 2007 independently. The EP was recorded in a basement named Tight Squeeze Studio in Hyde Park, Massachusetts, and produced by Joe Egan and the band. They are currently working on a full length album.[1]
[edit] Early History
Egan and Smith met each other at Boston Latin School where they formed the band "The Futon Police" in 2002 with Matt Divito and Mike Guerra. They released a self-titled album in 2003 with ten tracks. The foursome played together until 2005, when AJ Locke became the new drummer and they changed their named to "Moxie Fever". Moxie Fever released a self-titled Album, in 2006. Shortly thereafter, Divito left to pursue a solo career, and Jared, Jonn, and AJ became Red Red Rockit.
