Red Gate Software is a software company based in Cambridge, UK. It primarily provides tools for database developers and administrators. In addition, through its Simple Talk Publishing subsidiary, it maintains community websites such as SQL Server Central and Simple Talk.[1] It has regularly featured in lists of the top companies to work for in the United Kingdom.[2][3] It was founded by Neil Davidson and Simon Galbraith in October 1999.[4] The company is currently located within the St Johns Innovation Centre.[5]
