The Red-spectacled Amazon (Amazona pretrei) is a species of parrot in the Psittacidae family. It is found in Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay.
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montanes, dry savanna, and plantations . It is threatened by habitat loss.
