The Red-gartered Coot (Fulica armillata) is a species of bird in the Rallidae family. It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Falkland Islands, Paraguay, Saint Helena, South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands, and Uruguay. Its natural habitats are swamps and freshwater lakes.
