Record of Agarest War (アガレスト戦記, agaresuto senki) is a strategy role-playing game for the PlayStation 3 video game console.[1] The game is a collaboration between Idea Factory, Red Entertainment and Compile Heart.[2] It was released in Japan on September 27, 2007[3], then a Korean version was released in South Korea on May 25, 2008.[4]

The game includes dating sim elements through its "Soul Breed" system which allows the player to create a new character by pursuing a relationship with a female character.[5]

A playable demo version of Record of Agarest War was made available for download in the Japanese PlayStation Store on October 5, 2007.
