Recca is a side-scrolling shooter video game for the Famicom. Its full title being "Legend Consumer Series - Summer Carnival '92 Recca", Recca was released by Naxat Soft on July 17, 1992. Recca is sometimes spelled as Rekka meaning "blazing fire" in Japanese. Recca was known for its fast speeds and high sprite count without any slowdown in frame rate. It was used in Naxat Soft's competition "Summer Carnival" in 1992.
