Rebecca Dowbiggin

Rebecca Dowbiggin (April 11, 1983, St. Albans, England) was the 13th female cox to compete with Cambridge in The Boat Race - which takes place between Cambridge University and Oxford University annually.
Rebecca was chosen by the 'Light Blue' (Cambridge) team only two weeks before the race was scheduled to take place on the River Thames, London.
She successfully coxed the 'Light Blue' team to victory in 2007 beating the 'Dark Blue' (Oxford) team by about one and a half laps of an Olympic-sized swimming pool.
