RebuildTheWall-06-Mother(30s).ogg (Ogg Vorbis sound file, length 30s, 122kbps)

[edit] Summary

The first 30 seconds of "Mother," the sixth track of the Luther Wright and the Wrongs album "Rebuild the Wall". This image is used for commentary on the recording, and contributes significantly to understanding the unique and widely remarked-upon technique they used in creating a note-for-note cover of a psychidelic rock album in a bluegrass country style. The effect cannot really be described in prose. No other samples from the same track exist on Wikipedia, and there is no free alternative since the recording is unique and copyrighted. The audio sample is ~120 bit Ogg Vorbis, below standard for archival purposes and redistribution.

The sample has been modified in the last 0.5 seconds to fade out smoothly.
