The episode list is interesting - I have just unearthed my original VHS tapes recorded from the BBC broadcast and converted them to DVD. The tapes are in chronological order of broadcast and differ quite substantially from the VHS published versions. I am missing one episode (Lighter than air) - what I have is:

1 Pioneers
2 Aeroplane goes to War
3 Trailblazers
4 Bombers
5 Quest for Speed
6 Giants of the Air
7 Rivals over the Atlantic
8 Fighters
9 Vertical Flight
10 Victory over the Sea
11 The Adventure of Flight
