Reata Sharlene Smith Strickland (born August 6, 1961) is a graphic and multimedia artist from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She is well known for posting a version of Interview With God that within a week 500,000 people viewed. Her inspiration flash presentations have reached millions. Reata is currently the creative director at the University of Alabama.

Reata currently resides in Tuscaloosa Alabama. She has two daughters. In her spare time Reata loves watching movies, gardening, and reading, listening to music, taking photos and doing things with the computer.
