Re-Ron is a 1983 song/poem by Gil Scott Heron. It was written - unsuccessfully - against the re-election of Ronald Reagan. Notable lines include :- "Would we take Fritz (Walter Mondale) with our grits? We'd take Fritz the Cat. Would we take Jesse Jackson? We'd take Michael Jackson!"
