[edit] Duplicate images uploaded
Thanks for uploading Image:Rdq.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Rdq.jpeg. The copy called Image:Rdq.jpeg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.
This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 22:17, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Note on what appears to be your autobiography
Hi Rdq1,
You should read WP:Autobiography, especially this section, before you spend much more time on this. Autobiographical articles are not forbidden here, but are strongly discouraged. Several things could happen, and many of them are probably not what you'd like:
1. Other editors could come along, delete most of the resumé-like portions, and turn this into a legitimate article about you.
2. Other editors could come along, and add unflattering information about you which will either be true (in which case, it will stay), or false (in which case, you will have to fight to have it removed).
3. Other editors could come along, and propose that your article be deleted. If the consensus is to delete, all your hard work will be gone.
You should consider whether this is really what you want to do. If you decide to continue, I will probably delete some of the more self-congratulatory things myself, but I won't propose the article be deleted. Instead, I will put a tag on the page so other users know that this page is autobiographical. Other users may feel more strongly than me about whether the article should stay.
If you decide you do not want this article on Wikipedia, since you will quickly lose control over it, you can simply type {{db-author}} at the top of the page, and an administrator will come by soon to delete the article.--barneca (talk) 23:56, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Repeated copyright violations (and removal of resume tag)
Rdq1,
You've reverted my removal of unacceptable logos (see WP:LOGO) from Raul de quesada twice now, with no edit summaries, no comments on the talk page, and no evidence that you are reading your talk page or the the article's talk page. Multiple reversions with no edit summary and no discussion on user talk pages or article talk pages is really bad form.
Please remove those images. I am not going to do it again myself, because I am not going to edit war. So far, I have tried to deal with this between you and me, but if you don't respond, I will have to report you to someone with more pull than me. That's a hassle for me, a hassle for you, and a hassle for the Admin that has to deal with it. I am really quite confident that the images have to go.
On another subject, I notice you removed the "resume" tag I placed at the top of the article. You have to realize this does, indeed, look like a resume, so that wasn't a fair or reasonable thing to do, but again, I'll not revert you. I'll simply say that right now, this article is unencyclopedic, and the style has to change, or it will be proposed for deletion. --barneca (talk) 21:19, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] whats the code to make my picture bigger ?
what are the steps to solving the picture tags or the copyright problem that continues to be addressed? what is the difference between a biography and a resume of an important person?
- Thanks for replying. Concerning the picture tags, please look at Wikipedia:Image use policy, which gives the steps to tag images with copyright tags. For the picture, I don't know the source, so i don't know what tag is appropriate. As for the image size, I have never tried to upload an image myself, and beyond telling you to look at Wikipedia:Images, I can't be much help. If you still have questions after you read that, you can always ask at Wikipedia:Help desk.
- As for the logos, as I said above, they just need to go. They are copyrighted, and Wikipedia is religious about everything being a free image. If you look at the Wikipedia article of any executive of any company, they do not have logos in their articles. The only exception is [Wikipedia:Fair use]], but that would only apply in the articles about Fox Sports, etc., not your article. --barneca (talk) 21:46, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] logos
what if you work and are the senior vice president for a company such as in this case Fox sports en espanol.. u cant upload that image at all?
are the sports logos the only problem?
as for the main picture, it is a self portrait, what tag do i use, or what is the code?
how do u change the spelling of the main top heading name, because the last name is in lower case..
thank you!
- This has to be short; I'm leaving in two minutes. As far as the logos, yes my understanding is any copyrighted logo can't be used, except as fair use in the article on that company itself. No matter who you are. That's in WP:LOGO that I refered you to earlier.
- You can change the spelling by moving the article. See Help:Moving a page. You'll be able to use the ú, too. If you have problems, I could move it for you, but it will have to be tomorrow. Let me know if you want that. Goodnight. --barneca (talk) 21:58, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

need help changing headline name to:
Raúl de Quesada
Also i dont know exactly how to put a tag on pictures i followed the links, i continue being confused..
[edit] Moved page, images, notability
I have moved the page to Raúl de Quesada for you.
I can't help you with any more image questions; I simply don't know enough about it. Try asking at Wikipedia:Help desk.
I had intended to help modify this article to bring it up to Wikipedia standards, but I have decided to leave it alone. After reviewing WP:Notability once more, I've become convinced this article doesn't meet the standards for inclusion. This is not intended as an insult; everyone doesn't have the right to a Wikipedia article; there are criteria you have to meet. As far as I can tell, typically only people like the CEO of a major corporation merits an article.
I told you earlier I won't propose this article for deletion, so I won't. But somewhere down the line, I think someone is going to propose that it be deleted, and I won't be able to argue with their reasons. So, I don't want to put any more time into it. In my opinion, the article as it stands now would be deleted if it was nominated. If you put in a lot of work and change it from a resumé to an article, it might survive. The decision on whether to continue is, as I said a few days ago, up to you. --barneca (talk) 12:58, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
