[edit] Correcting Vandalism

Thanks for correcting some vandalism. Your edit summary indicates you're not aware of some of the useful tools for doing so. Next time you see some vandalism, click on the history tab at the top of the page. Then click on the "compare selected verions" button. If that is the whole change you wish to undo, there is an undo link at the top of the right column, which will restore the previous version. If the vandal saved many times, you can select an older version from the history page to undo to.--J Clear 15:39, 20 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] English spelling

Hi there. Be aware that that UK-style spelling in articles is explicitly permitted by the Wikipedia:manual of style. Spelling should be consistent throughout an article, and if the topic is one particularly associated with one type of English the article should reflect that style (for instance, articles about Australians should use Australian English). So you should only change correct UK-style spelling if a) the article is inconsistent, or b) it's an article on a topic more closely related to the United States (or another country where a different variant of English is used). --Robert Merkel 04:04, 21 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Re:Your question

Hey! Adding userboxes to your userpage is very simple - for example, if you want to add the Military history box (like the one on my page, type {{Wikipedia:WikiProject Military history/Outreach/User WPMILHIST}} This will display the userbox. Mor WP:Milhist boxes can be found on this page. Other userboxes can be found on this page.

Adding images is simple as well. If I type [[Image:Example.png|100px]], I get this . Just replace "example.png" with the name of the image you want to place on your page. Be careful, though: you cannot use non-free images in userspace.

As far as formatting an article, you will have to be a little more specific. What is the subject of the article you want to write or improve? If you are interested in writing a military history article, this may give you some guidance. Let me know if I can give you some more specific information. Carom 23:51, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
