Is there a way to make external links display the URL instead of the number? That way you see http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Tom_Cruise&diff=cur&oldid=prev instead of [1](besides [http://URL http://URL]? -Mike Payne 01:12, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

Removing a section from the TOC

Is there a way to ensure that a certain section does not appear in the table of contents? On my talk page, I would like to do this with the "email" and "archives" sections, as I expect those to be there all the time.
