Raziah Ahmed

Raziah Ahmed, FLMI, ACS, RFC, MBA is a Senator and Member of Parliament of Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.

Senator Ahmed is a Registered Financial Consultant and received her MBA from the University of the West Indies [1], Institute of Business [2]. She is a Columnist with the Sunday Guardian [3] of Trinidad and Tobago. Her column "Money Matters" deals with financial advice.
Senator Ahmed is the President of TTAIFA [4] (Trinidad and Tobago Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors), a Board Member of CARAIFA [5] (Caribbean Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors) and a Life Member of MDRT [6] (Million Dollar Round Table), with 6 Court of the Table memberships and 10 consecutive memberships.
Raziah Ahmed nee Baksh attended Iere High School, and was awarded the Iere Gold Medal for Most Outstanding All Round Student. She studied at Mona Jamaica, under a scholarship from Trinidad Tesoro Petroleum Co. the forerunner company to Petrotrin.
