[edit] Commercial use of Image:BlackboxPrototype.jpg

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:BlackboxPrototype.jpg, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:BlackboxPrototype.jpg is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only" or "used with permission for use on Wikipedia only" which was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19 or is not used in any articles (CSD I3).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Image:BlackboxPrototype.jpg, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 22:02, 18 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] List of CoolThreads Application Tuning Artciles published by Sun

Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia, but I'm afraid that Wikipedia is not a web directory, nor is it a guide. Your List of CoolThreads Application Tuning Artciles published by Sun template doesn't appear to be appropriate content for Wikipedia. Is there perhaps one page on the Sun website that already lists these Sun documents? That would keep the UltraSparc T1/T2 articles looking more encyclopaedic, and keep any updates in one place (on Sun's website).

It is always preferable to have content than links. You could take the appnotes/whitepapers/etc and write something about the issues involved in optimising for the processors. Then you could cite the relevant papers as references. Having a bunch of external links in the middle of an article just doesn't look professional. --Imroy (talk) 05:30, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] January 2008

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from pages that you have created yourself, as you did with Folk Guy's Always with You. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 21:28, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] AfD nomination of Folk Guy's Always with You

I have nominated Folk Guy's Always with You, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Folk Guy's Always with You. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 21:47, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

Don't remove the AFD tag from the page. It says this in the comments: "Please do not remove or change this AfD message until the issue is settled." If you want to comment on the possible deletion, leave a message on the AfD page. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 21:56, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Edison Chen's scandal of sex photos (2008)

A tag has been placed on Edison Chen's scandal of sex photos (2008), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Warning

Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you. —Locke Coletc 04:48, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] unblocked - sorry

Sorry about that, Ray. IP 99.238.17.112 was blocked for declaring a vandalism war, but you should now be able to edit. Please let me know if you have any more problems. — kwami (talk) 17:58, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Wireless LAN security

I'm going to improve the references for this article as there are none. I'm going to do so by converting the external links.

I just don't think this was a good time to add non inline material to support the article. It doesn't need that. If you truly think these books are finer material than the external links provided, source them. I believe their usefulness here is limited otherwise.

This is especially true for an article that has {{Original research|article|date=December 2007}} placed on it.

Does this make sense? E_dog95 Hi 06:11, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image:RichmondHillCentre7.jpg

I have edited this picture of yours in Commons to remove the excess sky and pavement, and converted it into a 16x9 widesceen format. I think it makes the terminal much more prominent in the Infobox. Hope you like it. -Secondarywaltz (talk) 16:58, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] HP 2133 Mini-Note PC

Please do not delete content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to HP 2133 Mini-Note PC, without explaining the valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you.--Kozuch (talk) 23:20, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

Who is not providing the valid reason here?? If that template should be attached to HP 2133 Mini-Note PC, you may as well as that template to every laptop that can run Linux. Raysonho (talk) 01:06, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
