Ray Reid

Ray Reid is the head men's soccer coach at UCONN. He is the school's all time winningest coach, as well as the reason as to why they are a perennial national power. He is the winningest active head men's soccer coach in Division 1 by winning percentage(.776). As a collegiate head coach, he owns a career record of 292-73-32(.776). He coached at Division II Southern Connecticut State University, where he compiled a 146-17-15(.862) record.

He has coached at UCONN since 1997, and has posted a 145-56-17(.704) mark there. His teams have made nine straight NCAA tournament appearances, and have won or shared five Big East regular season titles. They have also won three Big East Tournament Championships. He was named the National coach of the year in 2000, as well as the Big East coach of the year in 1998. He was named the NSCAA Coach of the Year four times(1990, 1992, 1994, and 2000).
