[edit] Split Constituency

I can't find a map to prove it but it seems Rawdon is in two Parliamentary Constituencies. I live in Rawdon and my post code falls in Leeds North West Constituency, yet the most up to date map shows Rawdon to be in Pudsey. I am trying to find a map to show the boundary in enough detail to clarify. However using the UK Parliament Website - you'd think I'd be able to find a map - you can search by postcode. This search Rawdon Cof E Primary School (LS19 6PP) and Micklefield House (LS19 6DF) are in Pudsey while Rawdon Cricket Club (LS19 6DZ) is in Leeds North West. It seems that only a small part of Rawdon is seperated off but without a map I can't be more precise.Bat King

Yes, you're right. I found this page on the Leeds City Council website that says Pudsey includes ... Part Guiseley & Rawdon... ; the Leeds North West page also includes ... Part Guiseley & Rawdon... Like you, I can't find any useful map to show where the divide is. The Emmott Arms perhaps ;-) RichardEll 15:39, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

Yeah going by what I saw looks like all North of Emmott Arms down through to Canada Road and East towards the Airport is in Leeds North West... Not much then. Bat King

You can see detailed maps of both old and new constituencies at the Election maps site.PamD 14:27, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
Excellent!! Your link shows me that I will be reconcilled with the rest of Rawdon from the next General Election! Improvement. I was not happy to be seperated from the rest Rawdon. Though I'd rather all of Rawdon was reunited with the rest of Aireborough... probably expecting too much. Bat King 27 October 07
