Rawbank

Rawbank is a commercial bank of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The bank was created in 2001 and is based in Kinshasa. As of 2007 the director of the bank is Mr Thierry Taeymans.

Rawbank offers retail banking and commercial banking services. It offers internet banking, prepaid bank card, debit card and MasterCard credit card services. It is a member of the SWIFT interbank network. As of 2007 it operates branches in Kinshasa, Matadi and Lubumbashi. Rawbank was started by five brothers named, Mushtaque Rawji, Zahir Rawji, Aslam Rawji, Mazhar Rawji and Murtaza Rawji. Mazhar Rawji is currently the President of Rawbank SARL. Rawbank SARL continues to expand throughout Congo, and plans to go international in the next decade.
