[edit] Page protection for India

Hi, It seems like you have misunderstood the page protection mechanism. Only administrators can add those templates. And it is not done as a method for protecting any particular edit. It is only used in case of revert wars and frequent vandalism. It would do you good if you stop adding protection templates and instead read the Wikipedia:Protection policy. --Deepak D'Souza (talk • contribs) 12:38, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
