Talk:Rat Race (film)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I think the best joke in the movie is Lovitz driving a Ford while refusing to have a Volkswagen because the Nazis built them =D 142.177.124.178 02:49, 19 Jul 2004 (UTC)

BTW Gloria Allred is an actual lawyer. You may spot her in the Scott Peterson case representing Amber Frey. 142.177.20.150 21:35, 10 Aug 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Funniest moments
John Lovitz is clearly the funniest charcter in the movie by far. especially the scene where his daughter is forced to chuck a shit out the car window and the whold hitler jokes
I laughed the most at "Afro Whores" .... "Sizzling Three-way backdoor action featuring two sexy soul sisters..." Weatherman90 02:59, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
I thought this was a good film, but the only character I really laughed at was Rowan Atkinson's. JP Godfrey 12:19, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
Good movie, but terrible ending. zafiroblue05 | Talk 05:45, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
My favorite scene would have to be a tie between the Hitler-mobile ("Look at me! I'm Mrs. Hitler!") and the one with the Lucy's. I do think the ending could have been better.- JustPhil 22:04, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
The whole movie was just crazy. The scenes I remember were, "You. Should. Have. Bought. A. Squirrel," and when they fly past the gas station in the hover car and it falls right down like a cardboard box. Oh yeah, and the Hitler scenes.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.199.67.25 (talk • contribs) .

[edit] Rewrite tag
The reason I added the tag is that the plot section is not written in an encyclopedic manner, and is largely built off of a summary copy/pasted from the IMDB summary page.--Drat (Talk) 08:11, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
I don't think it should be completely rewritten. The film is pretty much six sub-plots following the six teams. Maybe reformat it. I'll see what I can do.- JustPhil 17:52, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
I think the summary is fine. Everything on the internet is copied from one place and pasted somewhere else. Plus it says all it needs to say. By the way, does anyone else notice that huge gap between the title, "Plot," and the actual text for that section?—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.199.67.25 (talk • contribs) .
- The gap is due to the tag. Despite what you say above, plagiarism is not permitted on wikipedia.--Drat (Talk) 10:03, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Rowan Atkinson & Wayne Knight
If I recall correctly, Zach was just a very (un)lucky FedEx delivery man, not an ambulance driver as this article claims. Zyxoas (talk to me - I'll listen) 06:40, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
- He was working for a organ deliver service —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 144.35.254.252 (talk) 20:30, 9 February 2007 (UTC).
[edit] Cast in own section
Cast has to move from the infobox to its own section. If possible reduce infobox stars to 4 (max.) Hoverfish|Talk 08:34, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Rat Race.jpg
Image:Rat Race.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:35, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
