Rastamouse is a children's book character, written by Michael De Souza (a Rastifarian swimming instructor) and his partner Genevieve Webster,[1] Rastamouse is the first black animal book hero for kids. Rastamouse books are written in rhyme with a Caribbean accent.

Rastamouse is the main character. Other characters that play a big part in the books are Scratchy and Zoomer. There are currently three Rastamouse books available. These are 'Rastamouse and the Crucial Plan', 'Rastamouse Da Bag-a Bling' and 'Rastamouse and the Double-Crossin' Diva'. [2]
