Rasa was formed in 1998 by Christian and Waters, who is a devotee of A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. They have released five full-length albums focusing on various themes in classical Hindu religion and mythology. Their release, Temple of Love (New Earth Records, 2006) is a tribute to the temples at Khajuraho, India.
