[edit] Accidental random text deletion

Editing today and yesterday I found that chunks of text were absent after my edits. This appears to be a problem with my computer and can occur even when I preview my changes to check there are no mistakes. Please don't take any of these edits to have been vandalism. I won't edit for a while as I don't want to mess up any other pages. Raoul Harris 16:01, 2 May 2006 (UTC)

Since I've posted this I have made several minor edits which don't seem to have caused any problems, and I'm confident that whatever problem I had is gone, so I will now be editing again. :) Raoul Harris 16:52, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
I had the problem again. Luckily it happened when I pressed show changes, so I didn't mess up the page. It seems that it cuts the text to a certain length. To solve this I will only edit article sections instead of editing articles as a whole. Raoul Harris 12:37, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Block on 213.133.214.2

I received your email asking for the edit block to be removed. It had already expired by the time I saw your message and took a look into the matter. Edit away! But don't get too used to it – gauging from the quality of edits coming from that school, it won't be too long before it gets blocked again. I'd guess that 60%-80% of vandalism on Wikipedia comes from school computers. It's a shame that it causes inconveniences for a some wishing to do proper edits. --Kbh3rdtalk 19:05, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Jèrriais

Bouônjour! Prêch-ous l'Jèrriais? The Jade Knight 06:50, 4 February 2006 (UTC)

J'prêch Jèrriais a bit. I can understand a little Jèrriais (I can understand what you just said), but I'm not a person to talk to if you want detailed answers or the use of the correct tense, or even spelling and grammar. I hadn't realised I had removed the explanation of languages from my userpage, but I have. To see it go to Old version of user page. With many languages I am good translating to english, but I get a bit lost trying to use them. Looking at your user page and edits it would seem to me that your knowledge of and proficiency with Jèrriais is so much more than mine that you would find talking to me in Jèrriais a waste.Raoul Harris

[edit] Asperger syndrome article

Hi Raoul, I've come to see the wisdom of your recent comments. Please come take a look and tell us what you think - especially if you think I'm overdoing it a bit (see this proposal). Thanks. AvB ÷ talk 03:11, 6 February 2006 (UTC)
