[edit] Regarding Random Evolution
Whether or not it is going to be deleted each time is rather subjective. I would recommend looking at articles about other bands to get an idea of what you should add. Just names and instruments isn't enough to be notable. Some suggestions are the History of the band, their Albums, etc. Also, I would recommend adding the Band Infobox at the top. An external link to the band's site would be nice, too. Most importantly, remember to cite your sources and don't copy and paste anything. but rather put things in your own words. If you have any questions or want help writing the article, please don't hesitate to contact me on my talk page. Thanks, Curran (talk | contibs) 20:03, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Re: RE
Well, if you're concerned about saving your work, you could start a new page on your user page at this link: User:Randomevo/Random Evolution, and get the article how you like it. No one will question it there, and then when you have it up to level that you want it at, you can copy and paste it into the main Random Evolution article on the encyclopedia. I hope this helps. Cheers, Curran (talk | contibs) 20:19, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Random Evolution
A tag has been placed on Random Evolution, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. tomasz. 21:24, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Your e-mail
Thank you for your e-mail. I've started a broader discussion of the deletion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Random Evolution. You may comment there. Chick Bowen 18:27, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Deletion
The article clearly failed the guidelines at WP:BAND and potentially WP:COI (your username suggests a conflict of interest). Also a potential use of sockpuppetry in the AfD, but I won't take that against you. If you still think the deletion was unjust, feel free to take the article to WP:DRV.
