[edit] Activities

Known for yearly participation in the National History Day competition, an annual United Service Organizations (USO) show, [3][4] and its ArtSplash festival, [5][6][7][8] RBV boasts award-winning programs in theater, graphic design/digital arts, speech and debate, and a 6A class marching band (currently directed by Eric Weirather and Mark Wadleigh)[9] . Many students participate in a large internship progam, AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination), the Regional Occupational Program (ROP), and IB Certificate and Advanced Placement (AP) classes.
