Ranch to Market Road 620 (RM 620) is a 27.4-mile roadway located in Travis and Williamson counties of Texas[1]. It is the primary access route for the southern side of Lake Travis.

[edit] Road Description

The southern terminus of RM 620 is at SH 71 in Bee Cave in Travis County. From there, it travels north through the city of Lakeway, following the southernmost points of Lake Travis until it crosses the Colorado River at Mansfield Dam. From the dam, RM 620 enters the city of Austin and intersects RM 2222. North of RM 2222, it travels concurrently with SH 45 for several miles, crossing US 183 and FM 734 before entering the city of Round Rock and separating from SH 45. The northern terminus is at I-35 in Round Rock.

For most of its length, RM 620 is a four-lane undivided roadway. While running concurrently with SH 45, it is six lanes of access road.

As of 1995, RM 620 is officially designated an Urban Road (UR 620)[1]. However, as with most other Urban Roads in Texas, no signage changes have been made.
