Rana chapaensis is a species of frog in the Ranidae family. It is found in Thailand, Vietnam, possibly Cambodia, and possibly Laos. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montanes, rivers, intermittent freshwater marshes, pastureland, and heavily degraded former forest. It is threatened by habitat loss.
