National Park service San Miguel Island ranger station and visitor center. The station hosts a small visitor center and quarters for both resident ranger and researchers. The station is powered by solar voltaic cells and wind turbines. Non-potable water is pumped from a nearby fresh water spring. Photograph by Todd Clark
