There is a claim in the article that there is currently no island in the river. However the picture CLEARLY shows one!!!

Also, I believe that the town was originally on an island, which became part of the mainland. Early maps display it if I remember rightly. So I'm going to remove this claim. --MacRusgail 13:10, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

The picture is of the lake in Mooragh park and the island is an artificial one. There is no island in the Sulby river near Ramsey currently. I have restored the statement until a genuine proof of a currently existing island can be given.Dabbler 03:34, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

Okay. Case of misidentification... But I seem to recall that there was originally an island in the estuary, which has been fully connected to the "mainland". --MacRusgail 10:37, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
