It was stated in the article that Willams made many of the words up. This is not true as it is well known that he took many terms from the 50s gay secret language and brought them into the mainstream. He would later say that he found it highly amusing to find the bitterest of anti gay men using terms that were part of a gay language. The most famous of these gay words if NAFF which meant not available for fucking. There are literally dozens of other words and phrases which have enetered every day language due to Williams. The language itself died out when homosexuality was legalised in the 60s.
