Ramona Fradon is an American comic book and comic strip artist. Fradon begun her long career in 1950. She had just graduated from art school, landing job at DC Comics.

Fradon entered cartooning as young newlywed, when comic-book letterer George Ward, a friend of her husband's, convinced her to give him samples of her artwork to pitch for job openings. She landed her first assignment was on the DC Comics feature Shining Knight. Her first full assignment was on the back up feature of Aquaman, for whom she co-created the sidekick Aqualad.

Following her time with Aquaman, she co-created Metamorpho. Fradon drew four issues of Metamorpho. She returned briefly to design a few covers for the title.

From 1965 to 1972, she took a break to raise their daughter. With 1972, Fradon returned to DC Comics. Her work showed up on Superman, Batman, and Plastic Man. Her other work includes Marvel's The Cat and Fantastic Four; DC's Plastic Man, Freedom Fighters, and Super Friends.

In 1980, Dale Messick retired from Brenda Starr, and Fradon became the artist for Brenda Starr. Fradon retired in 1995 from Brenda Starr, turning the chores over to June Brigman thereafter. Brenda Starr still remains today a popular feature in the newspapers throughout the world.

Fradon was inducted into the Comic Book Hall of Fame in 2006.
