King Rama I of Thailand memorial in Bangkok, located near the Memorial Bridge. The statue was erected in 1932 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Rattanakosin island. It was cast by the famous Thai sculptur Silpa Bhirasri.

Photo taken by User:Ahoerstemeier on July 18, 2003. Sadly the face is in shadow, I will go there again at a different time of the day when I have chance again.
