[edit] Ancestry

Why do you insist on removing any links to his Serbian ancestry?

If it is "not needed" as you say, why do you not go and edit the pages of prominent Croatian-Australians with the same consistency?

How about you stop going to all the articles on Australian football players and adding "of Serbian descent". On some of the people you add this to, it's not even verified, but besides this, you just add it for the sake of promoting some sort of agenda of yours. Most of your additions of "of Serbian descent" are not needed at all. - Ivan K 06:30, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
Mate, there is no agenda here other than to provide as full a factual biographical information as possible. This is in line with many other articles on Australian and international sportspeople, musicians, celebrities etc etc
If you would like to point out where I have added this incorrectly (other than Rasic, Utjesenovic and Blagojevic) it would be appreciated.

Yeah, it's a bit hard to find out info on Rasic. I mean, there aren't many sources on him on the internet. The only one that even comes close to being reliable is this, but it's wrong since it says he was born in Croatia (then Yugo), while Rasic's biography clearly states born in BiH (then Yougo) - Ivan K

It is possible he's a Croat, but I think he's a Serb because he looks like one and sounds like one.

This is what I've heard. He was born Croat. In WWII he lost his parents and after the war was placed in orphanage in Serbia. Anybody here to confirm this?

That's true, I got no sources to verify that though and I'm quite sure that his parents were killed by the Partizans. He considered himself a "Yugoslav" rather then a Croatian.

Another issue is the reference to his being born in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, why not just make it easier and say he was born in BiH. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.129.58.224 (talk) 11:39, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

Any source on his name being spelled "Ralé Rašić" (with diacritics)? Chanheigeorge (talk) 22:52, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
