At present the text reads "A different form of damage to railroad wheels takes place if violent wheel slip occurs. The friction caused can heat the wheel (and rail) enough to cause heat damage."
This paragraph makes no sense.
Different from what? And what is "wheel slip?" (and what happens if the wheel slip isn't violent?) And does the wheel damage occur independently of damage to the tires, which is the subject of the article? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.91.65.225 (talk) 22:15, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
