The RP20CD is a diesel-electric switcher model built by Railpower Technologies. It is a genset locomotive, and an unusual one because it has six-axle trucks rather than 4-axle trucks. The RP20CD is rebuilt from older locomotives and can be upgraded to 2,700 horsepower by adding a fourth generator.
