Rahim Thamby Chik

Rahim Tamby Chik is a former vice-president of the United Malays National Organization. He was aligned with Dr. Mahathir during the 1987 UMNO General Assembly. He is infamous for having been acquitted of a charge of raping a minor. He was alleged to have paid off the girl's family RM$3 million in compensation and heneceforth not pursue the matter in the court of law. He is currently contesting the presidentship of UMNO Youth. His liking for the young does not seem to abate with time.
