[edit] Clarification
"The radula is unique to all mollusks, except the bivalves" - does this mean that it's common to all mollusks except the bivalves? Or is there some subtler distinction that I'm missing? DS 11:55, 19 Aug 2004 (UTC)
I have reworded the sentence. Thanks for notifying. JoJan 13:08, 19 Aug 2004 (UTC)
The picture to go with this article is not loading.
Do you happen to have any citations for these figures or the list of the type of radulas? cause that'd be really helpful to my senior project which is on chiton radulas. thanks
can I just say I really like the top 3 diagrams, we need more like this on wiki :-)
[edit] histology images
Are these images http://www.mollusca.cz/galerie/histology.htm useful for wikipedia? --Snek01 11:04, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
- Yes they are. The copyright license also falls within the guidelines of Wikipedia Commons . But the description in simple language of these photos in Wikipedia requires a advanced knowledge of malacology. JoJan 13:22, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
- I am the author of these histological sections and of these photos. But I can not add better descrition. I have got more photos of respiratory system probably. Any help appreciated. --Snek01 01:27, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
- You can upload them to the Commons anyway. I'll see what I can do with them. JoJan 15:28, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
- Five of them added to commons http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Snek01 --Snek01 00:12, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

What about the radula of cephalopods? Is it inside a beak or IS it a beak?
