Why does this article even mention, let alone conclude with, him buying a speedboat in 1955? - Jmabel | Talk 04:33, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

Because it calls up a sort of quaint image of him boating off the southern California coast (where I think he moved) with his family in his declining years. Seriously, though: I threw in everything I could find on him, with little regard to how encyclopedic it was. As I noted on the new articles page, of all the details in there, this one can safely be excised, especially as we link to the Time article whence it came. Biruitorul 06:07, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
