I removed the following sentence from the article:
An example of a song that is simply shorter than the LP version is Depeche Mode's "Enjoy the Silence".
The reason being, the single version of "Enjoy the Silence" is not significantly shorter than the album version, rather, there is a separate interlude (by the name "Interlude #2" or "Crucified") appended to the end of the track. The interlude is not technically a part of the song, but since the interlude is not labeled on most track listings, it makes it appear that the entirety of the track is one song.
